Saturday morning, we picked up coffees and breakfast [from Top Dog!] and brought the food over to our friends house. Chris and Ninah recently had a baby girl a few weeks ago and this was our first chance to see Violet. Turns out, our other friends Chris and Karla had also driven into SLO for a weekend visit! What a nice surprise. They are getting married in May in SLO and were in town for a bit of wedding planning as well!
That afternoon, we went up to Paso Robles and visited Eagle Castle [where are getting married!] to talk with the event coordinator there about some details! The visit went great. We are soo excited about having our wedding at Eagle Castle!
Later Saturday afternoon, we met with Amy from Amy Bake's Cupcakes to taste some cupcakes and talk about ideas for the wedding. She is amazing! I am soo excited to have her delicious cupcakes at our wedding. It is clear to me that deciding on flavors might be a bit of a challenge...
After that, we headed over to a cafe in downtown SLO to meet with Ken, our photographer! We had a nice chat with him over some yummy iced americanos... Needless to say, we are super excited to work with him more, and share our special day. YAY!
That evening, we headed back out to Morro Bay to Chris and Ninah's house. It was nice to catch up and spend time with Chris, Ninah, Chris and Karla.. and of course, baby Violet!
Sunday morning we went out to breakfast with Zac's parents and brother at this great Mexican restaurant. I think Zac and I manage to have breakfast there at least once every visit to SLO.
Next up... wine tasting! We met Chris and Karla in Edna Valley to stop by Claiborne and Churchill and Wolff Vineyards where Zac and I are wine club members. We had shipments to pick up, and it was nice to spend the afternoon wine tasting too. Good friends + good wine = always a good time!
It seems that every time we see Zac's brother Marcus he is taller and taller! I had to take a couple pics to document the growing boy...
On our way out of town, we stopped by Chris and Ninah's to say good-bye. Violet was sleeping. :)
Parker enjoyed the drive home. Sleepy dog:
Well, that's all for now!
